You will accomplish this through application of your SEO, user research and accessibility expertise and experience. We will rely on you to act as an advocate for end users during product design and development decision-making, to play an important role in the execution of qualitative and quantitative research to determine user needs, goals and behaviors, and to contribute SEO expertise to maximize search engine visibility.

This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with a portfolio demonstrating success in bringing products to market and examples of an optimized user experience from usability and accessibility perspectives. A bachelor’s degree in HCI, Computer Science, Psychology, Research Methods, or similar field is required, plus 7 years’ experience that includes SEO for a commercial website or involvement with qualitative and/or quantitative research and analysis. Background must include familiarity with CSS and Javascript, Web analytics, keyword analysis tools and SEO guidelines, user research methods or accessibility best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills should be coupled with the ability to supply technically viable alternatives and to articulate complex design problems and solutions.
