About the Company:
MeetMoi is a venture-funded technology company with the goal of revolutionizing dating by making it mobile and location based. Qualifications:
At MeetMoi, you will be involved in the technology of the product from the design stage to implementation. You should be a rock star at managing simultaneous development initiatives and quickly grasping new concepts. You must be driven, if not addicted, to building software. You will be expected to think about the product and how it works from the user’s perspective.
Responsibilities:
You will help design, develop, and implement code for our website, messaging platform and mobile application. You will work directly with the CTO. You must have the foresight to see how multiple projects will come together and what will be needed to compliment the end result.
Outlined Tasks:
- Assist CTO in managing multiple projects
- Build new features in Java while seamlessly communicating progress and issues with the MeetMoi team
- Brainstorm user experience problems and the solutions to fix them
- Contribute to discussions regarding changes to the product
Technology:
You must be an expert in Java and have a deep understanding of technology in general. Here are some of the technologies we are using, experience with some or all is a plus:
- Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL, Linux, J2EE, Wicket, ANT, Subversion, Hudson, FogBugz
