Do you want to change the way people browse the web? Are you looking to channel your design skills and creativity in a whole new way?
AdaptiveBlue is a smart browsing and personalization startup that leverages semantics and attention in the social web environment. We’re looking for a Senior Information Designer to extend our BlueOrganizer Firefox Add-on, SmartLinks technology, web site, and the brand across a variety of challenging projects.
Because we are a small and fast-moving team in multiple cities, we need an eager and responsible self-starter with the following:
- 5+ years of experience: from system-wide interactive interfaces to the smallest of production graphics
- Ability to translate strategic, user-experience, and technical project requirements into information architecture and schematics, and then translate those into design
- An appreciation of usability, functionality, innovation, and elegant solutions, with a great sense of typography
- An interest in semantic technologies and the evolution of social networks
- Basic knowledge of CSS/XHTML/HTML, as well as how to work with and improve upon the technical issues associated with cutting edge interactive development
