This position is for a Senior Developer in Grid Services and Applications within the Middleware Group at the San Diego Supercomputer Center.
The Senior Developer will collaborate with the Network of Earthquake Engineering (NEES) project that integrates NSF’s earthquake engineering test facilities across 15 sites. The Senior Developer will work with the NEES leadership to architect, implement, and deploy large-scale cyber infrastructure in support of earthquake-engineering research.
This position requires a senior engineer with demonstrated technical and leadership capabilities.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated technical skills through the development of sophisticated software systems. The incumbent will be responsible for technical leadership (technical oversight, mentorship, and software-development process definition) as well as writing code for data repositories, hybrid simulation and telepresence.
