Small, Funded Internet Start-up Company Looking for Full Time Senior Web Developer
Our Internet start-up company is looking for a Senior Web Developer to
build and maintain a complex real estate related website. The selected
candidate will also be involved in hiring a junior programmer to
assist in achieving the goals of this project if need be.
The position involves 100% new developments, hands-on coding,
architecture and design. The final production team could include: 1
senior web developer, 1 junior programmer and 1 graphic/web designer.
Responsibilities:
- Main responsibility: Develop and maintain the web site.
- Work with the company’s managers to put in place a clear structure
and functionality for the web site.
- Assist in hiring a junior programmer
- Oversee and direct the rest of the programming and design team
- Quickly respond and resolve any problems that could appear during
the process in order to avoid costly delays in launching the website.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years in implementing and maintaining web content
- BA/BS
- Expert HTML and CSS
- Expert in PHP and MySQL
- Strong knowledge of PERL, CGI, JavaScript, ASP.Net
- Very good organizational, communication and leadership skills are
vital to the success of the project
- Working portfolio
- AJAX development a plus
- Adobe Photoshop and Flash - working knowledge required
Start date: immediately
