Senior C# Developers at CDC Software (Atlanta, GA 30328)

We are searching for two or three outstanding programmer/architects to guide development of our next generation enterprise software products. On the desktop, we have begun shipping Smart Clients using C#, CAB, WPF and WCF. In the middle tier, besides our entry level use of WCF we are using extensive asmx based web services, and have created a rich class library of support for localization, error handling, context management and many other platform supporting classes. We need to blend in older products written in VB, C, and C++, and support Java-based stacks via interoperability yet to be defined (but most probably involving generous helpings of web services). We believe metadata is a key ingredient for software models which can be interrogated and modified at run time, providing the capability for user-level modifications to UIs and the queries that drive them. To this end we are looking at ORM products such as Nhibernate and IdeaBlade, and anxiously awaiting a successful release of the ADO.net Entity Metadata framework.

We need your skill, enthusiasm and leadership to take us to the next level.

If you have a passion for writing code, if you are excited by the opportunities the .Net 3.5 framework brings to change the way enterprise software development is constructed, then we’d like to hear from you.

These positions are based in Atlanta, Georgia. Some travel to worldwide offices may be necessary on an occasional basis. We have development teams across North America, Europe, India and China.

If you think you’re a good match for one of these positions, please email your resume along with a cover letter detailing how your experience fits, and what you’d love to work on.

I am the hiring manager, not an HR person. I’m trying out Joel’s web site to make direct contact with a few select developers. I promise to carefully read and consider all emails I receive, but I won’t be able to send a personal response to every email. If I think there is a fit, I’ll get back to you immediately.
