This senior level developer is a key role in our organization responsible for the design, delivery, and management of applications created by TransUnion Interactive. This position acts as the development team leader alone on small projects, or with other developers on larger projects. This position ensures that systems developed are of high quality, follow design best practices, are scalable, and delivered on time and on budget.
Our team uses the Microsoft Foundation Sever platform to ensure development best practices and to provide process for collaborate among the entire team. This postion will play a large role in leading the team to leveraging and refine use of this platform to it’s fullest extent.
Our office is conveniently located in the downtown Chicago loop.
Qalifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience. MCSD, MCAD, or equivalent certification preferred.
Expert knowledge of:
- Any Object Oriented Programming (C#, Java, etc.), 6 years
- RDBMS design/maintenance and TSQL or PL/SQL, 6+ years
- .Net framework (minimum 3 years )
- C# and ASP.net (minimum 3 years )
- MS SQL Server (minimum 3 years )
- Developing scalable/secure distributed applications
Expertise in most of the following areas:
- Architecting Object Oriented applications/components
- W3C web services
- HTTP protocols, IIS
- Designing objects using UML
- Authoring technical design documentation
- Designing and documenting ER diagrams using industry accepted methods and practices.
- Development methodologies (i.e., Agile methodoliges, Extreme Programming, SCRUM, Rational Unified Process)
- Test driven development
- System integration experience
Must have excellent communication skills to foster an effective process between client requirements to client deliverables.

Must have extensive experience functioning as a lead on various projects.
