A seed-funded project with a working alpha-stage demo seeks a lead UE/design professional schooled in the virtues of "Getting Real" and who can propose solutions with little documentation or direction. Ability to meet early in the AM, at lunch hour or after work to accomodate the (otherwise full-time workers) of this virtual team is key.
The service (now in stealth) is a consumer-facing service that targets people who love to read and who plans to make reading far smarter and more efficient than what exists today. This is an opportunity to define the look-and-feel of a service that consumers will pay for directly and that will help to fix much of what’s wrong with both RSS-based reading and print publications.
A painfully-clean aesthetic and the ability to iterate rapidly via online and phone is key to this role, as is the ability to "put thyself in the reader’s mindset" to deliver a great experience.
