(Anywhere) Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience using PHP/MySQL
- Careful to the point of paranoia about SQL injection, header injection, and XSS attacks
- Able to integrate apps with payment gateways such as PayPal and with third-party APIs
- Detail-oriented, thorough, and professional
- Exceptional work & communication ethics, ability to meet deadlines
Typical Projects:
- Develop small social networking application from scratch
- Develop custom WordPress plugin
- Create an e-commerce app
- Convert HTML page to CMS template
Not required, but a plus:
- Knowledge of common open source web apps (WordPress, Drupal, etc)
- Using the DRY approach when building apps
- Experience integrating PHP/MySQL with Flash/Actionscript
