Salesforce.com is looking for a strong Visual Designer on the User Experience team.
Responsibilities:
As a Visual Designer, you will create graphics, screens, and layouts that reflect and extend the established style guide.
You will work closely with the interaction designers, product managers, and developers. You will translate creative directions and discussions into leading on-demand application design and layout. You will create and maintain a consistent look-and-feel of our application.
You are a true teammate who can play well with others and not be daunted by the input and requests from team members.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Four-year degree in design or relevant experience
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience in visual or interactive design
* Skills in major graphic software programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
* Detailed understanding of color, space, and typography
* Keen eye for detail and a proven track record producing consistent clean icons, graphics, and layouts
* Strong HTML/CSS skills: The ability turn your creative vision into code is a must
* Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish
* Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
* Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Desired Skills:
* Ability to understand and visually explain technical concepts
* Experience with Flash, Flex, and Actionscript
