We work with music artists and other entertainment clients to help them create new revenue streams, and eliminate their reliance on large corporations to survive. Clients include a wide range of artists such as Radiohead, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Alkaline Trio, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, DJ AM, The Killers, and many, many more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Architect, design, code, test and implement scalable, reliable and secure web applications that support millions of users across dozens of major web properties.
• Work closely with management and our amazing user experience team to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with our friends (ie. third party partners) on integration and migration projects.
• Document, optimize and re-factor existing code, SQL queries, and engineering processes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (4+ years)
• Knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns
• Knowledge of re-factoring with unit/functional tests, and SQL query optimization
• Knowledge of scripting languages including PHP, Perl, etc.
• Knowledge of Ruby, and Ruby on Rails required.
