Social networking web site seeks an outside developer or development firm for ongoing site maintenance and new projects. You must be a full-time developer (no freelancers with day jobs please), have strong experience in meticulous cross-browser CSS, and a proven track record in developing online applications in the LAMP environment. Experience with the CodeIgniter PHP framework a very strong plus. NYC area is preferred for occasional meetings. Also, knowledge of additional Linux systems admin tasks. Your should be prepared to: -Analyze working code, and get up to speed on CodeIgniter quickly if necessary. -Be devoted to detailed commenting of code. - Respect dealines and understand that some may be short. - Contribute opinions and strategies in addition to code. -Be a working team member, rather than simply a vendor. - Take pride in the details: Your PHP is scaleable, your code is compact, etc. Please send a resume or, if a firm, past projects, with hourly rate.
