JOB DUTIES:
• Continue to develop RDE’s sites
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility functionality (IE 6+, FFx 2+, Saf 2+)
• Identify and define new feature sets for the sites and CMS
• Develop, design, and articulate solutions to complex business requests
• Guide developers through complex implementation issues
• Lead QA process
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiarity with BDD/RSpec a plus
• Strength at debugging and problem solving
• Knowledge of web usability best practices
• Ability to deal with changing priorities
• Hard working, detail oriented and efficient
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 – 7 years’ experience working in a web development environment
• Demonstrated experience developing complex, commercial web applications (ROR/J2EE/PHP/Python)
• Expertise in all of the following: RoR, XHTML strict, XML, CSS, DOM manipulation, JavaScript/XHR/AJAX
• Experience with Edge Rails/Rails 2.0 required
• Effective skills in communicating technical concepts
• Experience with Agile Development
