The IT Manager is responsible for overall IT functions of the Rensselaer NEES/CEES (Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation/Center for Earthquake Engineering Simulation) geotechnical centrifuge facility. The IT Manger will supervise IT support personnel and will be responsible for the development and design of software systems, and incorporates new technologies into a range of research applications. These applications include the advanced 3D viewer, visualization tools, facility telepresence capabilities, data acquisition and management, and post data processing tools, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelorâs Degree in computer science or similar, management information systems, or engineering. Two years experience in a comparable position. Proficiency in one or more of the following (Visual Basic, C++, Lab View, ORACLE and SQL)
