Primary Responsibilities:
* Build and deliver highly scalable, high-quality, production-ready Java enterprise applications and systems to the Operations team.
* Work with engineering and SCM team members to define, implement and administer best practices and procedures for maintaining source code in support of day-to-day software development.
* Work with IT to build, configure and administer development and test environments.
* Work with QA and Engineering to develop and administer a high-level Continuous Integration solution.
* Work with the Operations team to ensure reproducible, high-quality releases to the production system.
Skill set and Experience Desired:
* 5+ years administering scalable enterprise-based source control systems.
* In depth experience with Subversion and Ant.
* In depth experience with Linux and Linux system administration.
* In depth experience with the one or more of the following: Bash, Jython, Perl, PHP, LDAP, JMX
* Experience installing Linux, OS patches and upgrades, Oracle and WebLogic.
* Experience with Ant Hill, Cruise Control or other frameworks for driving continuous build processes.
* Experience configuring and deploying to WebLogic, WebSphere or other J2EE application servers a plus.
* Practical experience with IDEs such as Eclipse a plus.
* Intermediate Java coding skills.
* Familiarity with automated testing practices and frameworks such as JUnit.
