We are looking for a Quality Commander.
Do you enjoy breaking software? Do you find problems and design flaws in everyday things? Are you the person who always notices when a door opens the wrong way or a switch is wired upside down? Do you believe that software should be intuitive to operate and pleasant to use? If so, then you might be a Quality Commander.
GenoLogics develops cutting edge data management products for the life sciences research industry. We develop solutions that matter. If you believe that software testing should be part of every iteration planning session, then we want to work with you. If the idea of testing complex, enterprise-grade, multi-tier software products gets you excited, then this is the place. If you know the difference between functional and regression testing, and you have strong opinions about the best ways to automate each, then we should talk.
About the Quality Assurance Team
Our talented quality assurance team consists 7 QA staff, working together to self-organize their efforts. We use an iterative development process that closely involves both Product Management and QA through daily stand-up meetings, customer feedback sessions and team-wide test days. We run quarterly Hack-Days where everyone in the company is free to develop whatever they want (we even have prizes). We put a lot of time and money into developing our team through regular training sessions, a generous book budget, and our annual “GenoPalooza” event.
