Project Manager
Redbox is seeking a Project Manager with experience managing agile software development projects. The Project Manager will posses excellent analytical, problem-solving, customer relations, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. This resource will be working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with software developers, testers, and support staff as a member of our Extreme Programming (XP) team to release high-quality, secure, and scalable software that provides an optimal customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple projects concurrently
• Lead project iteration and release planning meetings
• Coordinate project planning and requirements facilitation
• Actively manage scope, risk, and quality
• Support resource management activities
• Communicate project status, risk, milestones and issues
Requirements:
• 5 years experience in the coordination or management of software development projects
• Experience with XP/Agile development methodologies
• Highly developed organizational and communication skills
• Experience with Internet, Web 2.0, and E-Commerce technology projects
• Sound understanding of fundamentals of Web programming and technologies including: C#, .NET 1.1 and 2.0, Java, VB.NET, C++, COM, DCOM, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, MSMQ , ASPX
• PMP certification a plus
• CMM or CMMI experience a plus
