Due to our growth we are currently recruiting for a full time software engineering Project Manager for our Cambridge, MA location:

Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Software Development, you will lead and manage 3-8 person multi-discipline software product development teams. As the project manager, you will organize the development and delivery of new products, features, and maintenance releases. The Project Manager will work closely with marketing, product management to collect and define project requirements, and work with engineering and QA to generate task breakdowns with associated risks, durations, and dependencies. As part of the Project Managers responsibilities will be to report the project status to management, and play an active role in resetting priorities, and improving our process of development and progress tracking.
Requirements

• To be successful in this role your background will need 2 to 8 years of:
• Experience in web/e-commerce environment with online applications.
• Proven track record successfully managing multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously from initiation to closing.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and agile software development processes.
• Experience in the complete software development life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, test, QA, and maintenance).
• Attention to detail, relentless focus on follow through, and process oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to work with other product development disciplines (QA, marketing, project management, product management).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of our organization – asks penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions, and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project tools.
• Engineering or CS degree: BS with 4-8 years experience; MS with 2-6 years experience.

Pluses
• Experience with online gaming and financial applications, Informix, AJAX, Internationalization and Localization.
• PMP certification
• Experience with current web services technologies – WebLogic, WebShere, J2EE, JBoss
