Qualities Desired
- Strong database skills.
- Experience preferred in Access, SQL, VBA, Sharepoint, Outlook (Exchange)
- MySQL, PHP, Java a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must document code.
- Most work can be done remotely, so physical location of candidate not too important.
Tasks to Perform
- Design Access applications that pull from legacy and/or corporate data sources.
- Maintain and enhance existing Access applications in use.
- Design links to other MS Office applications from existing Access DB’s
- Design web interfaces to communicate with backend Access or SQL databases.
- Develop PDA/Blackberry interfaces to communicate with Access/SQL DB’s.
Prior Work Experience
Would like 2+ years in work environment, but will consider any candidate with strong skill set and desire to work hard.
