Programmer Analyst – Web Application Developer – CB Richard Ellis, a global real estate services company, has a full time programming position available at its state of the art Mapping Center in Tempe, AZ. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications in a fast paced, small team environment. Based upon purchased software solutions, these applications are internally developed data reporting and retrieval engines, online mapping systems, and other database driven interfaces.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, will focus on and be responsive to the customer’s needs, and will be flexible and creative to create high quality products
Required qualifications include at least two years experience working in a team environment developing web applications, and proficiency in ASP.NET (C# and/or VB.NET), JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML, SQL server and T-SQL, web services, and other web application development. In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, mathematical, reasoning, planning, organizational, and analytical skills consistent with the requirements of the position.
Preferred qualifications include experience / proficiency in a GIS programming environment, relational database administration, SOAP, SQL server reporting services, and user interface design (GUI). Degree in computer science or related field preferred. Experience in and desire to practice agile software development preferred. Familiarity with KML and Google Earth a plus
