The Local Digital Media (LDM) team will be responsible for building the strategy and operations around managing and growing premium online properties. This role will help define the products that the Local Digital Media team builds. The Product Manager will work closely with members of various disciplines throughout the team to identify the goals and constraints for new features. They will turn those into actionable product specifications that can be documented and developed by the engineering team.

This is a high-visibility role within the team and a chance to shape the direction of NBC’s local digital products.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Take ownership of a set of features and work closely with Design, Engineering, Sales, Editorial and Business Development to map out the goals, vision and requirements for those features that will accomplish the business goals.

- Create detailed product requirements that describe the products and features to be built.

- Manage tradeoffs and dependencies to make sure the end result is a great user experience that drives the business forward

- Work closely with Project Management and Engineering to meet timelines and features/requirements

- Deliverables include page wireframes, market research documents, detailed product specifications and product roadmaps

Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Product Design or Industrial Engineering

- 3+ years of experience in online product management
