(New York, NY) Polar News Company LLC is seeking an accomplished Creative Director for a major online news and information start-up based in New York City, backed by leaders in the interactive media industry.
Successful candidates will have 5-10 years experience creating web sites, shaping the design and UI of a leading site. Editorial design experience is preferred.
Job Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5-10 years experience in graphic/web design, site development and team management.
* Portfolio demonstrating excellent creative skills and current technical experience.
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash (including ActionScript), CSS, HTML/XHTML, and Dreamweaver.
* Ability to develop pages in CSS
* Proficiency in MAC OS X and Windows XP platforms
