PHP Developer
Framestore CFC is the largest visual effects and computer animation studio in Europe. Based in Soho, London and employing over 700 people, the company operates in a fast-paced environment and works with cutting edge technology.
We are looking for an experienced junior to mid-level PHP developer to join a small team developing a variety of web applications.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing websites and software, as well as these essential skills:
* At least 1-2 years designing, programming, documenting and maintaining PHP web applications on Linux
* At least 1-2 years of web front end skills including hand-coded HTML, CSS and Javascript
* Strong communication skills, being able to present, discuss and explain ideas to a wide range of people
Also desirable:
* A relevant degree
* Knowledge of PHP and/or Javascript frameworks and design patterns
* Knowledge of usability issues and interface design
* Design skills and an eye for aesthetics
* Experience using the Linux command line, including CVS
* Experience developing with Java
