The Partnership for a Drug-Free America is currently seeking a Technical Producer to join its Digital Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of prior experience web production, with a strong desire to apply and grow their technical skills in the most successful and effective nonprofit organization with the mission of helping parents raise healthy drug-free kids. The position reports to the Web Producer/Manager, Digital Product Development.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation, formatting and production of new content for an extensive and growing suite of consumer-targeted web sites, including extensive work with graphics and multimedia.
- Day-to-day maintenance and enhancement of web content.
- Production, implementation and measurement of all eNewsletter campaigns using Kintera marketing system.
- Implementation of search engine optimization across sites.
- Set-up, maintenance and reporting of site analytics.
- Conduct and coordinate quality assurance activities for new features and sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong front-end web production skills: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Photoshop, etc.
- Experience with web publishing systems and CMS.
- Experience with Kintera Sphere preferred but not required.
- Experience installing and customizing blog template programming (WordPress preferred but not required),
- Experience with ASP, JSP, PHP, MySQL, XML technologies
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple project and task requests within tight deadlines.
- Experience with optimizing web images for download efficiency.
- Good grasp and eye for quality web design and information architecture principles.
- Experience working with technical, computer graphic and multimedia design professionals.
- Knowledge and/or experience with post-production of video and audio for web multimedia features
- Understanding of best practices in web project management.
- Experience with website analytics, preferably Google Analytics
- Knowledge of search technologies, search optimization.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
