Wiretap Magazine — an award-winning online news and culture magazine by and for a new generation of progressives – is seeking a talented and creative Web Designer / Front-End Developer.

This is a 10-20 hours a week, part-time (freelance or staff) position. The candidate can work with us in our downtown San Francisco office or telecommute.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years web design experience with front-end technologies including HTML and CSS
- Knowledgeable about emerging web technologies, methodologies and principles
- A visionary who is passionate about creating engaging and enjoyable online experiences
- Eager to design and implement great solutions for providing rich-content (things like Google mash-ups, podcasts and streaming video)
- Informed about, and a practitioner of, basic user-centered design principles
- Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills a must
- A solid communicator who can articulate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
