This position is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of creative and technical development of the Panera Bread® website. Also for the oversight of third-party solution providers for on-demand testing and measurement of products. The Manager will be required to develop and maintain applications ensuring that the website accurately and creatively reflects Panera Bread and provides a high quality user experience. This position will interact with internal customers and work closely with other business unit team members in developing solutions.
Accountabilities:
· Architect, design, code, test and implement reliable web applications
· Create web pages using ASP.net, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL administration using PHPMyAdmin
· Create pages and content based on usability standards and company techniques
· Manage day-to-day web site operations including product and content management and site functionality
· Creativity and latitude is required for this position as the Webmaster will be required to create graphics to be placed on the web site; but will also need to be able to work with in-house graphic designer, and an outside graphics & design company on site layout and design
Qualifications:
· Must have Webmaster/Content Management experience
· 3+ years experience programming in HTML, ASP.net, JavaScript, Ajax and knowledge of PHP, MySQL. Must have working knowledge of basic TCP/IP network architecture and internet protocols (HTTP/S, SMTP, POP & FTP) and a thorough knowledge of browser compatibility issues for all platforms/major browsers
· Proven experience in testing and documentation of website performance and optimization
· Superior customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
· Proven problem solving ability to successfully manage multiple tasks on a concurrent basis
