QOL is looking for an experienced web designer to help build our on-line community system for our upcoming MMOG ALGANON. This individual needs to be experienced in the creation of graphical and interactive websites, and have a strong background in a javascript framework such as Prototype (preferable), jQuery, or Dojo. This individual also needs to be able to work independently, communicate clearly and easily with other team members, and must enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Duties
• Work closely with the Lead Web Developer to implement features related to the ALGANON community site
• Implement all needed pieces of the ALGANON community site in HTML+CSS
• Create and maintain a set of design PSD’s for each new Phase of the project
• Assist with the JavaScript rich interface implementation
Requirements
• Mastery of HTML and CSS
• Extensive Photoshop experience with a high skill level in graphical design and technique
• Must be well versed in AJAX via a decent framework such as Prototype, Dojo, or jQuery
• At least 3 years experience creating quality graphically intense and interactive web solutions
• Must enjoy learning and being on the cutting edge of technology
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
• Must have a high level of creativity and the ability to apply that creativity to sound and well-designed web-based technical solutions
