QVT is a New York-based asset management firm whose success relies on both the ingenuity of our investment strategies and the technical wizardry of our software development team. Our software engineers all possess a gift for programming and a track record of building innovative and large-scale projects. Our most successful technical people also bring imagination, a methodical approach, a burning desire to find the very best solutions to the real-world problems they will face.
With a dozen or so developers, our group is small enough that everyone makes a significant impact. Our scope, however, is large enough to provide a wide a variety of projects, including core database routines, caching algorithms, financial libraries, security models, trader-facing GUIs, and more. Your actual assignments will depend on your interests and abilities.
Software engineers at QVT have either advanced degrees in computer science or equivalent talent/experience. Our platform is .NET 3.5, and while .NET experience is not required, the ability to do amazing things with computers certainly is.
