We currently seek a Manager, Internet Strategy to join us at our Chicago, IL location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support, project management, and technical skills to maintain and develop content, functionality and interactivity on the NMH consumer website. Includes managing projects, staff, budgets, and the vendors who build and enhance our existing consumer site. Marketing, technical management, and project management will be involved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Staff management including hiring, performance appraisals, providing training opportunities, goal setting and personal development for each team member.
⢠Coaching and supporting team members, resolving issues and ensuring each team member is able to do their work with all the proper materials and resources.
⢠Allocating and supervising work assignments.
⢠Developing and maintaining strong relationships with team members across the marketing department and division.
⢠Managing weekly production/maintenance of all sites within the NMH domain.
⢠Preparing and maintaining capital, operational budgets.
⢠Managing production schedules and reporting on production progress.
⢠Developing and maintaining all site documentation and policies necessary to ensure that the sites are compliant with industry and organizational standards.
⢠Contracting with vendors and business partners as well as managing outside consultants.
⢠Providing extensive project development, planning, project management, and delivery.
⢠Understanding client’s goals and aligning/strategizing to meet them.
⢠Developing long and short term plans for the organization using internet technology and research on latest trends in healthcare and other industries.
REQUIRED:
⢠Undergraduate degree and at least 10 years experience in internet programming environments including interactive websites; management and healthcare experience desired.
⢠Strong technical knowledge of the internet and programming languages (CSS, Java, Javascript, HTML, XHTML).
⢠Experience managing all aspects of the technical mix including information architecture, content, and programming.
⢠Must be a team oriented individual with demonstrated team management and project management experience.
⢠Strong interpersonal skills.
⢠Familiarity with open source Spring Framework, Java, and Oracle.
⢠Background in marketing, strategic planning, business development, information services, or internet site management preferred.
⢠Must have a passion and strong interest in the internet.
