Web Design
The Department of Design, Digital Arts & Film at SCPS- NYU is currently seeking industry professionals to serve as instructors in our web design program. We seek individuals who posses technical mastery of the relevant software as well as an understanding of basic underlying principles of all design and can use these skills to inspire our students to produce truly innovative and compelling websites. In addition to instruction in Flash, Dreamweaver and After Effects, the curriculum addresses areas such as information architecture and planning, website usability and exploration of interface design. Potential candidates should possess at least a bachelorâs level degree and at least 5 years of professional experience. Teaching experience is preferred especially at the college level, but is not required. We are looking for experienced professionals who can demonstrate their abilities through their accomplishments to date, and are motivated to share their knowledge with aspiring designers. All candidates should have a portfolio or reel of their work available for presentation upon request.
