The program area for Design, Digital Arts & Film at SCPS-NYU seeks web design prof’ls to serve as instructors in our web design program. We seek individuals who go beyond the basic technical proficiency to create a visually cogent and exciting website and integrate this knowledge with an understanding of basic underlying principles of all design to enable our students to produce truly original and “user friendly” works. In addition to instruction in the softwares such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator, the curriculum addresses information architecture and planning, website usability and exploration of interface design, e-commerce concerns and secure transactions. You must have a BA degree & 2 years of prof. experience. Teaching experience pref. We need experienced, innovative individuals. All candidates should have a portfolio or reel of their work available upon request.
