Applications Development Services
Responsibilities:
Participate in the design of customized solutions.
Implement the application.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members.
Communicate frequently with the technical lead and QA team to ensure successful delivery of the system.
Contribute technical expertise for proposals and participate in the pricing/scoping process.
Requirements:
A B.S./M.S. degree (depending upon position level) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field.
A minimum of two years of software development experience.
Expertise with Microsoft technology (.NET, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, VB6, and/or C++).
Experience working with Visual Studio .NET.
Ability to master new technology quickly and to work in a constantly changing environment.
Good communication skills and an ability to work with a diverse team.
Recommended Qualifications:
Familiarity with GIS/ESRI software.
Familiarity with XML technologies and RDBMS.
Experience with COM, DCOM, or AJAX.
Experience with SharePoint, BizTalk Server, SQL Server, or Web parts.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (RAD, RUP) and design techniques (UML, Entity Relationship Diagramming, Data Flow Diagramming).
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
