Verifi provides Payment Gateway, Risk Analysis and Mitigation services for card-not-present merchants using Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model. Verifi works with merchants in the Direct Response (DRTV), Mail Order/Telephone Order (MO/TO), Ecommerce and multi-channel markets, with both single-purchase and recurring payment (continuity) business models.

Through a scientific and methodical approach, Verifi has developed a state-of-the-art online platform which analyzes risk throughout all areas of a business both directly and indirectly associated with credit card processing. Verifi works with merchants to identify and implement predictable risk-suppressing modifications to the business, while remaining sensitive to the overall sales and conversion rates.

Requirements:
- Highly motivated, quick learner with MySQL experience (4+ years).
- Strong knowledge of Replication/Clustering/Indexing/Tuning/Sizing/Monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux (3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL 5.0 InnoDB.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL Backup/Recovery/Upgrade procedures.
- MySQL 5 Certification highly desired.
- Experience with large data sets (100M rows+) a plus.
- Experience with database partitioning a plus.
- A high degree of independence and an exceptional work ethic.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Database operations, covering and all things database related.
- Assist with the design and implementation of our platform.
- Research new platform architectures to support business requirements.
- Assist with complex query development/tuning.
- Assist with data-mining and data warehousing activities.
