MRUNext Business Systems Analyst
This role is part of a small elite group which will include a strategist, project manager, architect, developers, and analysts to create a new world-class enterprise platform for MRU’s next phase. If you enjoy problem solving, have strong analytical ability, love to fundamentally rethink complex business processes, you’ll thrive in this position.

Position:
o Help create cutting-edge, analytics-driven BI, CRM, loan origination and web portal systems built on a rules engine
o Learn from domain experts, Visio diagrams, mindmaps and other documentation to capture and analyze complex business processes
o Translate business rules into workflow and functional specs
o Analyze current and target data requirements, identify and resolve gaps, and propose solutions
o Conduct risk, cost/benefit and competitive analysis for various processes
o This is not a project management or UI specification role

Requirements:
o IT, computer science, finance, MBA or comparable technical degree
o 5+ years related work experience as technical business analyst or equivalent enterprise role with emphasis on complex systems
o Ability to see downstream implications of scope or requirements changes
o Large systems implementation project experience
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit participation and input from others
o Systems oriented and strong in conceptual analysis, with excellent interviewing, listening, observation, modeling, organizational and planning skills
o Comprehend varied business scenarios in functional units across the enterprise: Loan Origination, Customer Relations, Capital Markets, Accounting, Marketing, and Financial Planning and Analysis
o Ability to apply business, data, process, and object-oriented modeling techniques
o Process re-engineering experience

Highly preferred:
o Loan Origination, Banking, Insurance, Mortgage, Collections or Telecom industry experience
o Rules engines and auto-decisioning systems
o Hands-on experience in data warehouses, OLAP and data mining
o ETL experience in data migration or data quality
o Structured data/documents and XML
o Windows application development and/or SOA experience
o Experience working with developers

o Salary range: $85 - $100 plus stock options and performance-based bonus
