Metaversum GmbH is working on innovative approaches to Web 2.0 and 3D platforms. With headquarters in Berlin, Germany, it is currently in the process of developing a massive multiplayer online virtual world and social community platform. We are looking for an exceptional, highly motivated web developer to join our team building a large, high-visibility web application. Our ideal candidate has created several applications delivering superior user experience and exceptional performance through the innovative use of web standards. He/She is able to demonstrate mastery of all aspects of Ruby/Ruby on Rails as well as, to a lesser extent, HTML/CSS and JavaScript/Ajax and has experience integrating with typical Web 2.0 services such as Google Maps API and other widgets as well as user generated content components (blog, wiki, etc.). Our ideal candidate is looking for a full-time position and will work on site in our Berlin office, but we are open to work with freelance developers as well.
