Mediajuice is a diverse multi-media studio with separate video, audio, online, and print divisions. We are passionate about quality and exceeding the expectations of our clients within whatever medium we are working. We are seeking a developer with 3+ years experience to head-up the online division of our company. This position will be full-time and duties will be performed on location at our studio located in a suburb of Dallas, TX.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about writing quality code and who makes it a priority to remain up-to-date on all the latest online technologies and developments. We are needing someone who specializes in one server-side language, preferably ASP.net, and is also fluent in CSS/XHTML as well as having a working knowledge of client-side javascripting. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for great design and ensuring that online functionality will work to further enhance design, rather than detract from it. This position will be focused solely on development but will work in parallel with the designer to ensure the integrity of the design throughout each project.
This individual needs to have excellent communication skills and be capable of leading the online division of our company. Primary responsibility will be working under the direction of our creative director for the coding and testing of all online development projects. Secondary responsibilities will include managing a team of off-site programmers (if the project requires it), communicating with clients about the costs involved with development, communicating with clients about the technical requirements of their project, analyzing client needs to provide estimates of time/resources/funds required to realistically complete a project within the requested timeframe, and communicating with team members about other project requirements.
