Mashable, one of the world’s leading blogs, is looking for a design ninja to lead the company’s creative vision through groundbreaking and original design that adheres to the "less is more" principle.
This design lead will be given free reign to rejuvenate the company’s brand image and create mouthwateringly simple CSS for new and existing properties. He/she will have creative freedom and work closely with a web development lead.
Skill set:
-HTML/CSS/Photoshop/Illustrator
-Javascript
-Familiarity with PHP (and optionally: Ruby on Rails)
-Preferred: Wordpress theme design experience, Wordpress expertise
-Ability to create phenomenally beautiful yet simple CSS
-Passion for web design and new web applications
-Full awareness of web trends and personal interest in cutting edge design and development
