OVERVIEW
Management Ventures, Inc (MVI), recognized as the industry leader in retail research and consulting, has an opening for a Web Developer at our Cambridge, MA headquarters. In this role, you will join MVI’s talented web development team to build c#/ASP.Net/SQL applications in support of our rapidly expanding business. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with product managers to flesh out and understand system requirements
• Work with graphic and interaction designers to develop highly usable applications
• Develop new functionality under the supervision of the tech lead
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should have previous experience in web development, object-oriented development and the ASP.NET environment. S/he must be self-motivated, intellectually curious and have a love for web development. The ability to work well in a team environment is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 yrs. experience in web development
• C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server are all required
• Object-oriented design techniques are required
• Exposure to front-end UI development with JavaScript and CSS is a plus
• Exposure to an O/R mapping tool such as NHibernate is a plus
• Exposure to AJAX techniques is a plus
• BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
