(Los Angeles, CA) LA Times Interactive is looking for a Lead UI Developer who combines aesthetic sensibility with expertise in markup, CSS and JavaScript who will be the lynchpin between our designers and our Ruby on Rails programmers.
To qualify, you must possess 6+ years of exp working on customer-facing web sites and also possess:
Expertise in valid HTML/XHTML markup, JavaScript & DHTML.
Extreme proficiency in CSS.
Photoshop experience.
Experience in at least one templating system and a conceptual understanding of variable substitution, looping constructs and includes.
