As part of our front-end development team, you’ll work with designers, engineers, and product managers to implement new features and improve existing ones, develop new site content and email campaigns, and squash user interface bugs via multiple browsers and platforms. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hungry to learn new skills and technologies, and able to handle multiple projects with aplomb.
You should have:
- Exceptional hand-coded HTML/XHTML and CSS skills
- Experience writing clean, unobtrusive Javascript/AJAX
- Experience integrating front-end code with server-side technology on a large-scale, dynamic website
- Experience using version control systems (CVS, Subversion)
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture
- A fire in your belly, a twinkle in your eye, and a spring in your step
We’d love it if you have:
- Experience with JSP programming
- Experience with Javascript libraries (YUI, Prototype) and debugging tools (Firebug)
- Familiarity and comfort with command-line applications
