The LinkedIn engineering team is seeking talented and dedicated engineer to help build new features and infrastructure components to support LinkedIn member profiles, recommendations and events. We are looking for:
- in depth and hands on knowledge of Java, the J2EE platform and experience working with relevant tools (IDEs, ant, junit, etc.)
- solid understanding of design, coding and testing patterns
- outstanding coding productivity
- ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
- strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
- prior industry experience or participation in open source projects (Java-based) is a plus
- minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
- MS in Computer Science or equivalent
