The LinkedIn Content Distribution and Networks (CDN) engineering team is seeking talented and dedicated engineers to help build new features and infrastructure components for LinkedIn Content Distribution, Groups and Networks platform. We are looking for:
* in depth and hands on knowledge of Java, the J2EE platform and experience working with relevant tools (IDEs, ant, junit, etc.)
* solid understanding of design, coding and testing patterns
* ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
* strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
* outstanding coding productivity
* prior industry experience or participation in open source projects (Java-based) is a plus
* BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
The LinkedIn CDN engineering team is responsible for core components of LinkedIn system, including invitations and connections, the address book and contacts management, member networks, affiliations and groups, homepage feeds, inbox and email communications and geography search.
