The LinkedIn engineering team is seeking talented and dedicated engineers to help build new features and infrastructure components for LinkedIn Content Distribution, Groups and Networks engineering group.
The CDN group is responsible for core components of LinkedIn system - including member and company profiles, company and education directories and search, groups and affiliation networks, questions and answers, recommendations, news, geography search, communication platform and feeds, contacts management and the address book.
We are looking for:
* in depth and hands on knowledge of Java, the J2EE platform and experience working with relevant tools (IDEs, ant, junit, etc.)
* solid understanding of design, coding and testing patterns
* ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
* strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
* outstanding coding productivity
* prior industry experience or participation in open source projects (Java-based) is a plus
* BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
