LIME BITS is an exciting innovation in website development and hosting. It bridges between opposite wings of the website authoring/development community – novices and experts – in a mutually beneficial way.
Lime Bits seeks a talented USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER with extensive usability experience. You will work closely with our development and design team to update and maintain the Lime Bits website, through iterative design cycles. We like self-motivated, critical thinkers with strong technical backgrounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction or related field.
- Master’s or PhD in HCI, or 3 years HCI-related experience.
- Experience designing web sites using user/task/functional analyses, story boards, low-fidelity / paper prototyping, user testing, and an iterative design model.
- Experience designing and analyzing user experiments.
- Solid understanding of statistics, particularly with regard to analyzing user experiments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT, and HTTP/WebDAV knowledge is a major bonus.
