LifeSnapz is a venture-funded company looking for an experienced senior developer to be a key team member to help build a world class web service.
What we are looking for:
- You have initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit
- You can solve problems, generate ideas and develop innovative concepts within a small team
- You like learning new stuff, get excited by new APIs, and have way too many feeds to read
- "Can’t be done" is not in your vocabulary
Ideally we’re looking for an experienced Rails developer with at least a couple of deployed applications. Either that or you’re very experienced with OOP/MVC (and a bunch of other important acronyms!).
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Creating a new type of application that will launch to a global audience
- Writing Ruby, JavaScript, and SQL code
- Testing, testing, and doing some more testing
- Making sure our Rails app scales nicely
- Learning and using a bunch of external APIs and backend helper apps
- Working with someone who has Rails commit access (Geoff Buesing, a LifeSnapz co-founder)
