A successful candidate will have:
- Experience prototyping, building, and maintaining high availability Web applications.
- Strong Linux System Administration knowledge.
- Experience with server load balancing.
- Strong Perl knowledge and mod_perl web development experience.
- Ruby On Rails experience.
- Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, RSS, Search Engine Optimization.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work with and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
The following skills are a plus:
- Experience deploying/managing web applications using Capistrano.
- Knowledge of Movable Type (MT), including: MT template development, MT plugin development, and multi-blog MT deployments.
- Object Oriented Javascript development with Prototype.
You will report directly to the company CEO and work with the executive team to direct feature definition as well as the implementation of the company’s products and services.
