As a Lead Interaction Designer, it will be your job to assure optimal usability on client engagements. You will design Web site structures, content organizations, interactive processes, and interfaces that help users find what they’re looking for, quickly and easily.

Lead Interaction Designers at Publicis Modem are organized, logical, analytical, and extremely creative. They are able to synthesize various forms of research and content into informational and navigational design solutions for our clients. The Lead Interaction Designer must balance consumer and client objectives to find solutions that capture the most appropriate paths between users and the information they need.

Lead Interaction Designers…

> Work closely with our Customer Insights and Research department as well as our Consulting group to help finalize strategy and project requirements.

> Perform site assessments and content audits

> Work out the overall structure that holds an interactive brand experience together, and then…

> Create wireframes and functional flows that show the relationships between interactive content and functionality

> Collaborate with the team to determine the most appropriate navigational solutions and user interfaces

> Define the behaviors and user interfaces for web-based transactional applications

> Present work internally and externally in a clear and professional manner

…have already solved information design problems for a variety of clients and are capable of presenting the background of the planning process for the sites they have worked on

…can justify their design decisions clearly and convincingly

…are familiar with the most recent usability and IA research and are capable of applying this thinking to their work

…are familiar with Visio and Power Point, or other tools that help to convey their thinking
