About You:
You will be our lead developer. Not only will you have great development skills but you are someone who is a strategic thinker and can make technical decisions. Essentially you will "own" our technology. Amongst other things you will collaborate with operations to steadily improve the scalability of the current site, while helping develop some really cool new tools and application features. Your work will be critical to meeting our growth and profitability targets and ensuring that our users experience a cool and consistently fast service.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with LAMP systems
- Expert knowledge of PHP5, DHTML, CSS and Javascript
- A strong understanding of HTML and coding for cross platform/browser compatibility
- Minimum of 3 years of strong Object Oriented design and programming experience
- Impressive front-end development skills (AJAX)
- Experience with XML
- Knowledge of basic Linux systems administration skills
- Entrepreneurial excitement, a positive attitude and hunger to get things done
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working with content management systems and email deployment systems
- Familiarity working with the Symfony PHP framework
Compensation:
Competitive salary from $70,000 to $90,000 annually and stock option participation
