Kareo delivers web-based applications to help physicians manage their small medical offices and improve their financial performance. We’re looking for a designer to apply the simplicity of consumer web 2.0 user interfaces to the challenge of managing patient health records, financial information, and medical office workflow. Kareo is a small team with big ambitions. You’ll do everything from usability research, info architecture, interaction design, marketing projects, web design, and front-end web development. Ideal candidate has formal design training, a strong portfolio, Photoshop and Illustrator skills, XHTML and CSS skills. Experience with JavaScript, Flash, and .NET technologies is a plus. Kareo has financial backing from Minor Ventures, started by Halsey Minor, founder of CNET and investor in Salesforce.com and other web companies. Kareo is located near the beach in Orange County, California. We offer a casual workplace, flexible schedule, and lucrative stock options.
