LIME BITS is an exciting innovation in website development and hosting. It bridges between opposite wings of the website authoring/development community – novices and experts – in a mutually beneficial way.
Lime Bits seeks a talented JAVASCRIPT SOFTWARE DEVELOPER with a solid background in computer science. As a JavaScript developer, you will work closely with our development team to create sample applications and JavaScript libraries for the Lime Bits platform. This is not a graphic or web design position. It is for a software developer with extensive experience in JavaScript and its intricacies such as lexical scoping / closure, the scope chain, and functions as first-class objects. We like self-motivated, critical thinkers with strong technical backgrounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
* Expert JavaScript & AJAX skills.
* Knowledge of JavaScript framework libraries, such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, Dojo, MochiKit, jQuery, or YUI.
* Understanding of browser DOM and cross-browser issues.
* Experience with XML & XSLT.
* Experience with other programming languages besides JavaScript.
* Experience in library and API design.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Bonus: Knowledge of WebDAV and/or functional programming.
